  • why are chinese people so crazy superstitious and so into horoscopes and such?  i'm called down from my parents who are watching the chinese "news", and i say "news" because i think the things that they report during the broadcast are like ridiculous and stupid, and the questions they ask are retarded.  i remember once, in taiwan, the news was on and there was this guy who was trying to sell his mom (yah, crazy, huh?) and they asked the mom if she was scared.  wtf?!  deeeeeeeeeer....but anyway, continuing on with my story...


    so i'm called downstairs and my mom grabs my right hand and immediately starts reading my palm.  she compares it to what the guy on t.v. is saying and she's like, "oOOOh, you are going to get married late, like when you are 28, 29, or 30, but don't worry, cause this will be a good marriage".  and i'm just like .  who the hell believes this crap?  and honestly, how credible is it?  if i go by the other stuff palm readers have said about my palm, i should be filthy rich with a prosperous business/career and madly in love right now.  err...how about none of the above!!!  then she's like,"oooH, and june 2006 is when they say money will come your way, so make sure we remember to buy a lottery ticket".  oh my...


    bleh.  though i don't believe it, i do hope it is wrong.  if ya'll know me, ya'll know that i do NOT want to get married when i'm THAT old.  and YES, 28, 29, 30 is too old to still be unmarried.  c'mon.  when are you gonna have kids?? when you are like 50?  groooooss!
