interesting conversation i had with john today. we were talking about guys with girlfriends and whether it's wrong to meet other chicks who may be potentials when you are with someone already. according to john:
johneboy129: i guess.... just cause you're on a diet doesn't mean you can't look at the menu.
what do YOU think? girls, do you think it's ok to meet other potential bf material guys when you already have a boyfriend?

Ooo, good luck, John.....
that depends...are you happy with your diet? if you hate your south beach diet, it doesn't hurt to learn a few things about weight watchers or jenny craig. after all, you are responsible for your own weight and happiness. no one else could or would take care of that for you.
haha. i've noticed that guys hit on girls regardless of the fact that they are seeing someone/have gfs. i think it depends....but it doesn't hurt to look if there's eye candy =)
dude.. its not like.. ur married. its all fair game =] if you're looking at other potentials that just mean that ur bf or gf isn't interesting/hot/good enough to keep u locked down. so Look Away!! it's like the rules of Econmics, the system can only balance itself if all parties are working for their own best interest. =]
that john guy seems pretty clever with his sayings... how do you know him?
Can a boy comment?
So, obviously you can't always help meeting people. But if you are in love, you probably aren't going to notice a new person as a "potential." At least that has been my experience. Being in love is like having blinders on: you only really *notice* your girl.
I am probably overly sensitive to this topic because of what my ex did, but even before that I would have said about the same thing. If you have a bf or gf, you should not get too close to members of the opposite sex. If you do find youself developing feelings for someone new, come clean to your partner about it.
its fine...you're not married! duh, your bf/gf doesn't owe you shit! hahah but if they go out with the intention of meeting a specific someone because a friend told them about her...thats pretty evil and hurtful but then again, they aren't married..
oh John... what's the point in looking at the fatty menu when you know you're not gonna order from it? you're just wasting your time... and your waitor (your significant other) is gonna get irritated at you for wasting his time while you look at something you should be staying away from... don't get fat!
