I used to be so happy when I won auctions on ebay because I knew that not long from now, something cool will be coming in the mail for me...be it a new purse, a new scarf, or concert tickets.
These days, that happiness has been transfered to bitter hatred as I drop $400 not on something cool, but on friggin BART tickets. Yes, you read right-$400 whopping bucks on friggin BART tickets.
That's:
-almost half the price of that awesome gucci purse sarah has
-2/3 the price of felicia's new maltipoo dog
-these really cool chanel sunglasses i saw at the mall
-2 ipod nanos
-4 pairs of really expensive jeans
-roundtrip plane ticket to NY
-8 fillups at the gas station
well, at least i got them at a 12% discount and i don't have to worry about buying more BART tickets for the next 10 weeks...

You could always think about what you could do with what you save.
you confuse necessary expenses with those that are quite unnecessary :p
$400 only gets me 6 fill ups . . . you're getting off easy.

geez ... why IS it so expensive? I think in LA if they gave the tickets away for free STILL no one would ride!!!
