taiwan was relived in LA this weekend.  frickin awesome.  it was really fun seeing everyone!  thanks to all those people who drove everywhere just to hang out and a special thanks to phoebe, helen, and dave for driving/taking care of us. 

what did we do? flew down into s.d. on thursday and met up with helen at the airport.  were starving ando so we ate at tgif.  it was really crowded for a thursday night.  awesome stuff.  san diego is so pretty...too bad it was raining though.  anyhow, got to meet all of helen's fob friends.  it was pretty weird cause they straight up speak chinese to each other ...hahaha no wonder chachi is such the fob. hahaa.  anyway, played the pyramids drinking game and learned a whole bunch of peoples names really fast since they were picking on me.  those asses. hahaha. 

Met up with ting ting at pacifica del mar or something like that to eat lunch early friday afternoon.  great view of the beach and pretty good food...all except for the wacky potato salad that tastes like rubbing alcohol...interesting.  took like 4 hours to drive to LA due to traffic and pit stops here and there.  made a stop in irvine and guess who we see walking out of coffee bean when we were going to walk in....friggin alice and her bf. hahaha such oddness because we just randomly chose a place to stop at just to pee and grab some beverages and there she was. haha pretty crazy. 

got to dave's...met his roomates and settled in for a bit.  its funny because he lives with 3 other guys and one of them is also called dave and people say his other roomate tony and him look like twins.   so yeah...just thought that was kinda weird because i live with 5 other girls and none of them are called deborah or look like me. haha.  we go eat thai food around the block and then head out to white lotus in hollywood.  club was fun.  really pretty.  everyone went.  it was awesome.  got a bit buzzed...and people starting to take blackmail pictures of me *ahem stupid manly and aiiii luuuun*.  ERASE THEM!   hahaha.  how completely off reality those pictures are..

saturday, went to go eat at damon and pythias in westwood.  sooooooo gooooooooood (hahah that one is especially for you, dave  )  then went to diddy reese and rite-aid and then met up with mimi and then with ting ting at ktv in el monte.  it was funny cause we went the wrong direction on the 405, then we went the wrong directoin on the 10 until we got to the 1 and was driving along the beachside when realized it wasn't the right highway. finally exit the right exit, however, it forked off and so we went right when we were suppose to go left. hahaa.  so yah, 2 hours later, finally got to the ktv place where we sang our hearts out.  of course our EAP anthem was sang...oh qi li xiang! hahahaha

met up with all the other eap'ers at baccalli's or something like that.  everyone was there and it was great.  afterwards, we did the fob thing and went to tea station to have tea and dessert and stuff.  then, we found a those sticky picture places like those all over the placed in taiwan and for old times sake, squeezed 8 people into a booth and smiled! hahahaha  it was so fun.

sunday, we were in a time warp and did exactly what we did for saturday.  we went to damon and phythias, diddy reese, rite-aide.  hahaa, yah...kinda weird.  why did we do the EXACT same thing again, no clue...but i definately wanted to eat damon and pythias again.  hahaa.  went to the grove, shopped around, watch manly struggle while learning to apply eyeshadow correctly.  hahaha.  then we left for the airport.

felt very useless today at the campus dining commitee because i know nothing about campus dining, since i don't have a meal plan nor do i know any freshmen or anyone else who goes to the DC's or GBC.  SO...if you or anyone you know have issues with it, any requests, suggestions...anything...please let me know about them so i can bring them up at the next meeting and contribute to something.  even if its what you want to eat more of, what you dislike about it, ANYTHING.  tell me.  THANKS!

feeling just a bit unhappy these days...

so was informed by marilyn the other day that there were 10 toothbrushes in our bathroom and again, only 6 people live here.   uhh...yeah...where did those other 4 come from???

realized why i am so stressed here.  have to deal with so much uncertainty about the future.  gosh.  uncertainty sucks...being IEOR and all, i should be good in dealing with uncertainty and forecasting...friggin aye...life sucks right now. 

on the brighter side, can't wait til feb. 10th!  yaaaaay!  thats the only good thing i can look forward to it seems...everything else has just been a bitter disappointment.  *sigh*  

hmmm..found a new campus job!! yaaaay! too bad its $1 less of what i used to make.  oh well.  get to work from home!  how great is that?  all i have to do is log the hours! muahaha

finished 2 summer applications for internships!  yaaaay!! now i anxiously await interviews....boooOOo interviews...those are the hardest things.  *sigh*

starting to dig the fobs at school. hmmm...interesting....as well as being very happy living with 2 of the worlds biggest fobs-calliea and tina.  muahaha.  quite the odd...yes...quite the odd

okok.  so its been a while since i lasted updated...sorry...just been pretty busy recently and pretty damn lazy at the same time..so yeah. 

school is aiite.  i hardly know anyone in one of my classes and the other class has a whole bunch of non-IEOR'S and juniors i assume...oh man, i can see where this is going next semester.  never in the mood of partying anymore...its just not the same and i think taiwan has definately partied me out.  yeah, so i've been quite the anti-club/bar/party scene recently.  but hey...can you blame me?  try going clubbing/partying 2+ times a week for 4 months and tell me if you still want to.

i think i've updated this before a while ago but man, there are 12 towels in the only bathroom in my apartment and there are only 6 people living here.  uhhh....that would mean on average, each person has 2 towels.  i only use 1 and i know for a fact that sarah only has 1 also.  so either 2 people have 3 friggin towels or 1 person has 4.  WHO THE HELL NEEDS 4 TOWELS AT ONCE?!    work with me here people.  no wonder our bathroom had mold on the walls.  good job. 

feeling just a bit stressed cause my computer is a piece of shit and i want to chuck it out the window.  have been looking into buying a laptop but man, those things are expensive.  i am currently taking applications for someone to fund this endeavor.  the only requirement is if you have $1200-1800 to kindly fork over.  any takers?  please.  i need a new computer. 

its been so long now...ok not realllllly, but i am still going through EAP withdrawls.  the only sucky thing about going on EAP is that you don't want to ever come back and when you do, since you have to eventually, you hate it.  yeah....i'm missing taiwan.  *sigh*  and NO, i'm not missing taiwan for THAT reason...(i know what you all are thinking...damn you!)

still have yet to finalize our spring break trip.  i think most of us are going to go on a carribean cruise.  that should be grand!  i can't wait.  never been on a cruise before.  anyone else want to come?  the more the merrier!!!

i'm glad the myung chung is back with the durantgirls.  =)  now i can harrass you some more.  yippeeeeeeeeee! 

argh.  need to find a new campus job.  need to find a summer internship.  need to find a real job.  god damn.  when did life become all about working?!!!??!
